Jacques Fath in Paris: celebrating perfume and heritage

Once synonymous with the golden age of couture, the house Jacques Fath returns to Paris with a new boutique — a luminous space where the grace of couture meets the intimacy of perfume. Founded in 1937 by designer Jacques Fath, the brand stood alongside couture houses like Dior and Balmain as a symbol of post-war glamour and innovation.

Today, Jacques Fath Parfums combines couture spirit with niche-style craftsmanship, offering modern compositions rooted in a rich legacy. The maison collaborates with renowned perfumers such as Cécile Zarokian, Luca Maffei, and Patrice Revillard, whose creative visions reinterpret the brand’s timeless elegance through contemporary scent. Among the latest launches is Musc Couture, a refined and sensual creation that continues the brand’s dialogue between sophistication and innovation.

Inside the Parisian boutique, visitors can also discover Jacques Fath’s signature olfactive statement — the iconic fragrance “Iris Gris.” Originally launched in 1947 and reimagined today as L’Iris de Fath, it remains celebrated for its luxurious iris heart, softened by peach top notes and grounded in elegant woods and mosses.
