Some fragrance objects stop you before you even open them. The weight of the case in your hand, the way it catches the light, the precision of the finish. And suddenly you are already in love, without knowing yet what scent is waiting inside. Batchig solid perfume is exactly that kind of object.
Founded in Paris in 2026 by Clara Boyadjian and Janelle Bolatova, the brand was built around a deceptively simple idea: to make solid perfume a design object worth keeping. Refillable, precise, and made with the same rigour as fine fragrance. Something that earns its place both on your vanity and at the bottom of your bag.
Two friends, one obsession
Clara and Janelle come from fashion, where an object earns its place through line, feel and presence. They brought that same eye and rigour into perfume. But the spark for Batchig came earlier, from a childhood memory: a solid fragrance from a well-known French brand, brought back from France as a souvenir for Janelle, that stayed with her long after the scent itself faded. The gesture of application, warming the balm between the fingers and pressing it gently onto the skin, felt like something worth keeping. Batchig was built around that gesture.
The object
The ritual is clear: pick the note, warm the balm, kiss the skin. Three steps that turn a daily habit into something considered. The formula is vegan, alcohol-free and developed in-house — soft and melting on contact, comfortable even on sensitive skin. Each scent is composed by professional perfumers at Studio Flair with the same discipline as fine fragrance, adapted to a solid format that evolves on skin throughout the day.
The packaging is where the design intention becomes most visible. Compact, refillable, precise. The kind of object that looks right sitting on a vanity and looks equally right at the bottom of a bag. Chic with a bling twist, as the founders put it.
The collection
Three signatures, each distinct. Medusa — bold, magnetic, musky. A scent with presence that announces itself quietly. Cœur d'Abricot — soft and warm, with the roundness of apricot and a skin-close comfort that stays all day. Charcoal Latte — smoky, creamy, unexpected. The one that stays closest to the skin and longest in the memory. Not sure which one is yours? The Discovery Trio lets you try all three in mini format, with the amount credited toward your first full-size purchase.
A gift that lasts
Batchig solid perfume is the kind of object that works as a gift precisely because it is already beautiful before it is even opened. Compact enough to travel, considered enough to keep, and refillable by design. A small luxury that fits in a pocket.

The same attention to the object as an artifact is something we have been noticing across a new wave of niche brands. Pouchard Rive Gauche is another recent example — where every detail, from silver-plated bottles to hand-crafted packaging, is part of the story.
